1. Service Operator
The Alkitab Indonesia app is operated by PT Terbang Digital Global. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the app — a digital Indonesian-language Bible reader that provides access to the Terjemahan Sederhana Indonesia (TSI) text, personal capabilities such as saving, highlighting, labelling, noting, and sharing verses, and optional daily reading reminders. These Terms apply together with our Privacy Policy, which is an inseparable part of these Terms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, opening, or using the app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian. Personal content you create — saved verses, highlights, labels, and notes — remains yours and is stored locally on your device; we claim no ownership of it. You may not use the app for unlawful purposes, redistribute the entire Bible-text database without appropriate attribution, or reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law permits. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
3. Scripture Content & Attribution
The Bible text in the app is the Terjemahan Sederhana Indonesia (TSI), published and licensed by Albata in cooperation with Pioneer Bible Translators, under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) licence. You are free to share and adapt the Bible text for any purpose, including commercially, so long as you give appropriate attribution to Albata and Pioneer Bible Translators, indicate whether you made changes, and distribute derivative works under the same licence. 4. Advertising
The app currently shows no ads. If we introduce ads in the future, their placement will respect your reading experience, and the relevant policy will be updated beforehand.
5. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, including the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), effective since October 2024. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms will first be resolved amicably; if no agreement is reached within a reasonable time, the dispute will be resolved through the competent district court within the Republic of Indonesia. The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
